Well, Daniel and I have been going to court over the past couple of days. (He has to attend and I just drive). His MIP charge was dropped yesterday but they said that it COULD be brought up again - so to be good (basically). Then his hearing today was actually his sentencing for the wreck he had on my birthday without a driver's license and on MY INSURANCE!!! I talked to corporate (of my insurance companty) and talked them into covering what damage he had caused eventhough he was uninsured and didn't have a license!!! (We got lucky there)...
His consequence for those charges (no license and leaving the scene of an accident) were $100.00 per ticket plus various court fees - all adding up to nearly $400.00 - hey I think that's better than what the normal penalties for those charges were: 90 Days in jail for each charge and $300 in fines (per ticket)...So again - he lucked-out.
But now he is no longer allowed to drive the car we have because 1.) he is too expensive to insure now 2.) he is not on my insurance 3.) he also has to go to court on Tuesday for ALMOST HITTING A STATE COP!!! So obviously, he shouldn't be driving!!
I mean, he acquired all of this in like 2-3 months time - seeing as how he just got his license in July!! I love him more than ANYTHING ELSE IN THIS WORLD but he is going to fuck up my credibility for life if he drives - ya know?
Other than all of that legal stuff, I like working where I am now. My dad said that he wants to persue his other desires (business-wise) and have me basically take-over the businesses I am currently managing! He wants to pay me $10-14 per hour!!! I was like: SURE!!! He plans to build a 6 - screen Drive-In Theatre here in Albuquerque so as soon as he does that, he will either have me manage that (making my yearly salary $30,000.00) or have me continuing to run the other businesses! Whatever way that goes - is COOL!!!
