Someone needs to tell me, why is it that people feel the need to phone me up at work and yell?? I mean fair enough I work on what is kinda loosely called a helpline for a company. But still. Its something in the air. Its the summer solstice messing with peoples perceptions. The heat and the solstice. I feel so spiritually attached to everything around me right now, I feel the energy coarsing through everything, the life buzzing around me. I think the heat and the spiritual energy is getting to everyone and they don't know how to deal with it.
The world seems so pretty in the sunshine, dark dappled shadows quivering under tall, stately trees. Warmth against my skin. The smell of freshly cut grass, the sound of laughter. The world seems so alive and amazing when I hear the song that just came on. The Best of You by the almighty Foo's......its sends shivers through me, it makes me stop, it makes me want to fly, to fall with the wind against me. It makes me want to stand on top of a mountain, throw out my arms and experience the world beneath me. It makes me sing so loud, makes me close my eyes and let the intense feeling inside run through my body. I love this song, it makes me feel.
I want to go to the beach instead of being stuck inside at work, for now I'll dream of white sands and blue waters, plan and save money. So I can travel the world and live my dream, so I can settle wherever feels like home.
Also, random weirdness....Tell me the sex of your brain! Hmmm yeah all day at work we have been doing random quizzes.....see my jobs not all bad!! But yeah I appear to have an average female brain.....which comes as a bit of a shock really, cos well, I'm a bit of a tomboy, I can read maps, i'm good at technical stuff so yeah!
