whooo! crazy few days. to sum it up.... my car wouldnt start in the gas station parking lot the other day... but some nice guy came into the lot and jumped it for me.
lovey and i went to advance auto parts to test my battery and/or get a new one. turns out my old battery wasnt recharging anymore... so we get the new one home and put it in... tried to start it, only to realize it was the WRONG ONE!
the positive and negative terminals were backwards.
so we took it back and got the RIGHT one! brought it home, put it in, and it STILL didnt work.
so friday i had to take lovey to work in his car and use it to go to MY work.
(little side note: my work wasnt going to put me on hourly payroll til Oct. 7th but since ive been working OFF the clock to build a client base and gather leads, they said they would start me hourly today for being such a good sport.

saturday our leasing office called to say they had our $100 gift card.
lovey tinkered with my car some more when i went to work for a couple hours and realized... when he tried to start the car with the backwards battery, it probably blew the fuse.
so the next few hours we went out and blew the $100; a couple movies, a new shirt for me, bath and body works stuff, a couple candles, rented movies from blockbuster, and saved some for the fuse, and wings on sunday. we also looked at advance auto parts, auto zone, target, and wal-mart for the fuse... and NO ONE HAD IT! napa auto parts was the last place we looked and they were closed when we got there.
sunday we went to napa and guess what... they had a lot MORE different fuses (including the one we needed) AND they had more of everything in stock than anywhere else. i would have NEVER thought about going to napa before, but its the first place ill go from now on!!
so now my car works... i took it to the car wash and spent 2 hours washing it inside and out. (too bad its raining TODAY huh?)
