Losing your Mom will taint how you see your Birthday, you have my condolences. @emanuel - has it part right: aging is inevitable, growing old is an optional mindset. All things being equal, at 68 I'm closer to the Dirt Nap than you are. If you are breathing then enjoy Life, way better than the alternative.
