Spring is finally here. I am so excited to feel the sun on my face again after such a long and bitter winter. Already this morning I have been out walking barefoot in the still dew covered grasses and reveling in the clean warm air. The trees are just now starting to send out tiny pale green shoots but I can already see in my minds eye the Snapdragons and Chinese Lanterns that will bloom soon. There is so much hope in spring to me. Sometimes in the hustle of life I forget how much beauty surrounds me every day. Yet this morning I feel blessed to have remembered to listen to the birds serenading the worldthe squirrels chattering to one another, even the wind threw the trees. I see all this beauty today and I am humbled by it.
