I have to write an argument paper. I can have a great discussion for hours with my instructor or anyone, but putting this on paper I can't come up with a topic. Anyone have any good ideas?

Is that an essay for an argument paper? The topic you can come up with like your family or your career.

yeah, an essay. so family and career is too narrow and the whole abortion, global warming, and prison population is way too broad for a 3 page essay.
