My mom has always been a hard woman. She has made nasty comments to me and just at times she has been hard to be around. I know that she has been going through some rough times, I know that I have also. I am not sure how to deal with her anymore. I am used to bitter scything words or careful barbs, but we just came back from a trip to fast food with her crying. I asked her what she wanted to choose from the myriad of restaruants since I wasn't hungry at all, and she asked me why do I "always push her?"

I know that I have changed over the years, from a divorce and from horrible roommates. I have become jaded and harder, but to have this situation turn around and not be aware of it has just blown me away. I don't know what to say, or how to handle it. I was never appologized to as I was broken down, how am I supposed to deal with her?
