My fone is off, I just don't understand why. I paid them a month ago, they want more money?

I remember when Sprint changed from account spending limits to just saying you had to pay your bill every month. They'd call me and say 'You didn't pay your bill last month!' I'd reply with '... it was for $19. Why would I pay you now when I have a $400 ASL?'
