its always sad after leaving so many friends.
it was an incredible weekend... I got to see SOIA stageside, stagedive for AFI, swim and do belly flops at the outside venue's water area, meet tons of awesome kids, and just have a awesome time with old and new friends!

I had a good gym day today, i worked the chest, i dropped a few pounds too, i'm around 148 now. I'm going for a even fighting weight of 143-145. That means cutting out the junk food... bleh!

it's so much fun that i still know most of those bands! i've been out of the northeast for 2 years now and out of hardcore for a little longer.... at somepoint in got old and started listening to indie rock... don't know how it happened.
but the fest sounds incredible.
seriously, i think one of the best shows i ever went to was converge and the dillinger escape plan a long while back. they were both so brutal!
but um... aside from trading in my oversided work pants, headbands, and various other mid 90s hardcore attire, i also turned into a damn hippie along the way. so i'm traveling around hawaii learning about organic farming. it's definetly a differnt experience!
