Yesterday morning my grandmother died. It's not like this wasn't expected as she was 93 and had been in poor health recently.
I'm glad I decided to go down to TN last weekend to visit her and my grandfather. She was still sharp as a tack, even going to far as to question the 87 billion to rebuild Iraq. Too bad she won't get to find out how that ended. Her body just gave out on her, but I think she's probably better off now.
When we were leaving last Sunday she told my dad she was tired. Tired of hurting and such. I think that got to my dad and we both knew it'd be the last time we'd see her.
