Work was stressful last night, so I left early instead of doing the usual hour-extension thing that I do. My lead was really pissing me off by being a huge hypocrite and generally just an annoying person.
Tuesday will be better, as our real lead will be out there. He's already asked me to tell him how things went on Saturday when he comes back Tuesday, and I let him know that he is in for a real treat.
What gets me most is that the lead last night doesn't really appreciate the fact that she is a lead out there, and I would love nothing more than to join the lead team. It's kind of like a slap in the face, you know?
