It's Friday...finally!

I plan to obliterate the work-week tonight with the aid of alcohol and very entertaining friends.
Tomorrow afternoon, it's off to Craigland.
What in the blue fuck is Craigland, you may wonder. Well, some of you may know that I'm the maid of honor in one of my friend's weddings (which is coming up late August). Her fiance's last name is Craig, and apparently his family is kinda well-off and has lots of history in the county in which they live. They're old-South type people who want to know what school you went to and who your third cousin once removed is.
Anyway, they are throwing some kind of get-together Saturday afternoon for the engaged couple, and it will be held at Craigland (cue trumpets), which is some kind of estate/plantation/farm...who the hell knows what.
Makes me think of that "King of the Hill" episode where Hank & the fam went to visit Bill's family home in Louisiana...I may need to periodically fan myself off with a hankie and say, "This flowa is wiltin'."

If they don't serve mint juleps, I am going to be highly offended.
