Yippee it's weekend time. That was sarcasm. 
Tomorrow is my dreaded debut as hostess to a bridal shower. I think I've got everything together so tomorrow will just be decorating and picking up the cake (which will be yummy, a Coldstone Creamery Raspberry Truffle Temptation cake.) Then again, I have enough Yeungling in the fridge to get me through just about anything.
Hey, that's a great idea! I'll toss back a few before the shower and then it'll be smooooth sailing.
Anyway, we ran into an old buddy of mine tonight, the guy who worked on the "Come Get Some" zombie movie. He's an illustrator too...and he said that there's a CD coming out, a tribute to NC punk legends Antiseen, and he's doing the cover art. That's totally awesome for him. There will also be an official Come Get Some sequel, which follows the further adventures of the Warner Brothers (played by Antiseen, of course!), in the works. I can't wait!
Well, I'll probably check back on Sunday. I'm gonna have to get smashed Saturday to cleanse myself of domesticity.

spiked punch is how greasabillyjon and i survived our wedding shower. it's a wonderful idea....we were actually enjoying ourselves by the time it was over.
