I had the pleasure of going to a "lingerie shower" for my friend today. To some people, a lingerie shower consists of crotchless panties and penis-shaped lollipops. However, out in the backwoods of North Carolina, I considered her very lucky to get the satin nightgowns that she got, instead of the flannel jammies and "Git 'R Done" t-shirts I was afraid she'd get.
So now I have to throw a regular bridal shower for this same girl...and I'm in full-on bridesmaidzilla mode, actually spending an hour on the internet looking for games to play and worrying about what kind of punch to have. What the hell has happened to me!!!!

Big love to broken_princess and Izzy_Pop for hanging with us Friday night. You just can't beat watching a naked movie curled up next to broken_princess. My kitty Winston agrees, cause he's totally in love with her now.

Two more days till fireworks! (And yes, they will be loud.)
