Last night I was reminded of why I prefer to shop online, even though it's hard to try stuff on that way. 
I went to Torrid--awesome store BTW, nothing against them--to look for a concert outfit and was hounded by a clerk. She kept asking if I was a model like 5 times.
Her: "You're just so tall and beautiful, and we get a lot of plus-size models in here, and they're always kind of standoffish like you."
Me:
Then she goes out of her way to mention she's straight. It seemed like a clumsy hick attempt to hit on me, but sorry bitch, you need to improve your skills! Damn right I'm standoffish, I hate being accosted by sales clerks. If I need help, I'll ask for it.
OK, rant over. Deep breath. I'll blow off some steam tonight with some cool SGC'ers!
