WAAAAH! My story was not accepted by Suspect Thoughts. I guess the only good thing is the editor's email was a bit more personal than the usual rejection notice. He liked the story but it didn't fit the theme of the issue. Understood, but it was just a crapshoot when the guidelines were so damn vague. I hate it when you have to mindread these people. There was also an issue about my use of song lyrics in the story. Apparently fair-use laws will let you use some of a song lyric or whatever but only to a certain extent without the artist's permission. I need to check into that. See how hard it would be to get permission cause the story sort of revolves around this one Madonna song.

Well, back to the fucking grind tomorrow. My job is so boring lately I would rather eat wallpaper for six hours a day.
