Up late again...at least it's Friday.
Makes me feel like I'm rebelling, in a pitiful way, against the suburbs, drinking my Bacardi & Coke Zero & thinking obscene thoughts and making obscene art while the khaki-pants wearing crowd is sound asleep, sure to be up at the crack of dark-thirty ready to drive their minivans around.
I'm on a creative streak today, got a lot of writing done & sketched an idea for a painting, a triptych. Have to go buy some supplies tomorrow.
Maybe it's cause of the husband-talk last night. I said a lot of things I'd been holding in, and he managed to not freak out as much as usual. There is a discrepancy between my happiness & his I think, now he knows some things he can work on. Work, blah

I wish the Muslims would disappear. In a nuclear way. I know that's ignorant redneck talk, but it's late! For real tho, I have spent years battling the ills of Christianity. Islam, the more I learn about, is even more cringe-worthy. Muhammed himself forced conversion upon penalty of death, so it is written. What the hell is up with people freaking out over some stupid cartoons? They just prove the point of the ones lampooning them.

Yes, I've "done my fucking homework" on the evils of Christianity.
My POINT was I had not known the origin of Islam was so violent. And much as I hate Christianity, even I had to admit that its origins were peaceful in comparison. Was Jesus lobbing heads off with scimitars? NO. Were the early Christians doing the same? NO. They were too busy trying to not get fed to the lions. Once Christians became power players, that was another story of course.
Most organized religions, like most governments, are centered around the power of a few and the subjugation of many.
