I wonder if anyone else notices the difference in Christmas (Holiday) spirit. Has anyone watched "A Christmas Carol" this season? Have you felt the warmth that radiates from Scrooge by the end of his story?
I feel that every year more & more people turn into Scrooge. Making the holidays all about presents, Black Friday, Cyber Monday, working overtime to make sure everyone gets what they want. What happened to wanting that time with those you're close to? The vacation time, the white wonderland, the story, the meaning. Singing songs, delicious treats, watching holiday movies, cooking, & baking. That's how I like to spend this time. I will get all my lovies special gifts when I think about them, I'm not going to kill myself in the Ray race to ensure that everyone gets along for 20 mins on one day.
