Well. Two disasters in one day.
First off this morning I had to pee, so naturally I go walk in my bathroom. Just as I reached the toilet I slipped on some water left behind from my mom showering before work. I somewhat tried to catch myself, but failed miserably. My left hand almost caught hold of the edge of the tub, but slipped and I slammed my arm/shoulder into it. While at the same time I landed hard on my ass, ramming my right foot into the bottom of the toilet.
Now, I can usually deal with pain okay, I think I've got a slight tolerance to some of it. But, as I sat there trying to collect myself the tears just naturally welled up. Yes. I fucking cried. It fucking hurt god damnit. My foot no longer hurts, but i'm sure as hell wishing I had some strong painkillers fot my shoulder.
My other disaster was my first bad experience with hairdye. I've been dying it since I was in 7th grade, and the only problems i've had in the past was getting my dark hair to take to bleach in one sitting, or having a color not turn out exactly the shade I wanted. Anyways, on with my story. So I go rooting in the bathroom (towels spread across the floor to avoid falling again) and find that I have a packet of Bleach, plenty of developer, and a bottle of Blue dye. So I decided to put a blue streak in my hair just for the hell of it. What can I say, I was bored and delerious. Well I put in the bleach, and it comes out very nicely for a change! I continue on with the dye, as always. Well I washed it out, and only about the bottom half of the streak took to the dye. The color is a sickly greenish blue, it's not even pretty or at least intresting looking. My hair was fine before the dye, the bleach didn't harm it. However, aside from the fucked up color, the dye fried my hair! Luckily I have it cut like Lain, and was dying the longer side, so I can just chop it off to get rid of the fried part and just condition the hell out of whats left. Hopefully I can get some black dye to fix the fucked up part more towards the roots that didn't take to the dye well.
On a lighter note, I've mailed my money order to Synthdoll for my synthdreads! I even enclosed an SG sticker for her
Halley has two broken, un-fixble, old computers that he is giving me. I'm hoping to take apart all the parts inside and if I'm lucky make something more useful out of them...like jewerly or something. Maybe even sell some if I make anything cute enough.
I think that's about it.
