i miss you....

three days ago she got into the garbage and started having diarrhea and vomiting. we tried all the home remedies we could find and we tried to contact a vet or animal hospital but everything was closed till tuesday around here. we found one place open monday (today) and we were going to take her in the morning. only it was too late... i awoke this morning to her laying at the foot of my bed... passed away. when i went to sleep she crawled into bed with me and snuggled on my pillow and stayed till i fell asleep...
in my last post you read that i was starting a veggie garden. i was never able to plant my veggies due to it raining so often, being so hot, and then poison ivy spreading to it.... we buried her in my garden plot and used the cinder blocks to make a small pyramid of sorts on top of it. so it doesn't really look like a pyramid .. but if you know where her name came from it makes perfect sense in my little mind to do that for her....
she was only 6 months old. far too short of a life for this puppy. she was so full of life and love. always wanting to play and snuggle. i will miss her so much.. i could never express it in words...
sorry i don't update much anymore... i just dont have much to talk about anymore i suppose...
but, i felt some people would like to be notified of this.
Hope you enjoy your stay in Australia. Although I have not met Helly yet, although I did come close once, she is already an awesome person in my book. Hope things only got more cheery for you.
