Well, tomorrow is my birthday. I am in a different place than I was a year ago, to say the least. I had recently split with my ex wife, was in an apartment too big for what I needed, and was slipping into old (slutty) habits. Now I am fully divorced, have a great and positive woman in my life, living with her in a perfect apartment in a good part of town, and feel that things could really move in a great direction. All I need now is a job, which I plan on finding starting next week (all bets are off on my birthday weekend, amirite?). I just hope some of the positive I bring to others can start working for me; I know I am negative a lot, but life likes to shit on me. I just feel I deserve a break so I can move forward and stop being pessimistic and bitter. Ideally I get my car inspected (some how, some way), find a decent job, and start bettering myself and contributing. Tonight we are going to see Say Anything, Kevin Devine, and Fake Problems at Warehouse Live and it promises to be a good show as I like the music of the openers and adore Say Anything. On my birthday we're going to do Bingo (stfu, I like it) and then head to the bar. Going with a few friends of the missus that I genuinely like. I really am glad she has friends that I get along with and seem to like me. Sunday is up for grabs, but who knows -- could be fun. =]
