Just had a the crapest day at work, actually my day got off to a bad start. First I slept in, which gave me 10mins to jump in the shower n get dressed before my lift to work.
Then the morning seemed to be goin ok, with us all moved to our new desks I'm kinda on my own. But it felt good, cos being kinda on my own I found I've started to be able to deal with queries coming in without having to ask for help. So from that point of veiw work is goin good.
But then the afternoon came n the workload went mad, I was still working my ass off tryin to meet the 4:45 deadline n ended up not getting out of work till after 5pm. It's only gonna get worse after next week cos Lynsey leaves n she's not being replaced. We're strugling as it is cos we're understaffed n it's gonna get worse
I'm so glad it's the weekend came home had nice hot shower then poured myself a drink. Now I just have to sort out my stuff for my guitar n singing lessons tomorrow. God do I ever stop working! lol.

I just came to the realization this morning that the weekend is not long enough. We should have two days of work and five days of weekend. Just pay everyone more.

Sounds grim mate! We've just about dried out the town now.. but it's been far worse in other places.. some people still don't have power.. 5 days later!
