Hello lovely SG people,
How are we all doing???
Well as you can probably guess I am procrastinating... I had every intention last night and today of packing stuff up to start moving on this weekend and so far I have found that I needed to do the following instead of packing...
I needed to start working out, getting into shape and subsequently went for a run/jog/Oh My Gawd I am so out of shape I think I should walk before I die...
I needed to price a new camera as my old one is, well ancient... Canon 350D, yes its that old... lol So naturally I had to do some online browsing looking at prices...
Oh I got hungry and needed to make dinner and breakfast and now lunch...
I need to check my car oil level as I am going to be driving 3 hours nth tomorrow with some of the stuff I pack today... If I ever pack it..
And now I need to tell you all about this... and I know you all want to know about it! :-P
Anyway, I did actually start looking through my stuff a few times last night/today and have come to the conclusion and I don't know how it has happened but I have a lot of stuff (code for shit) and where did all this stuff come from?
I am not really a hoarder... at least I don't think I am... There are somethings I like to keep for sentimental value, or because its something I think will be useful in the future. Pictures of places I have visited in my limited travels (though they are digital and I don't have that many HDD's). Books, cause I love the musty smell of a good book! DVD's that I have wanted to buy (yes there are many).
Now all these items I think are reasonable. But its the other stuff, the empty alcohol bottles that are a reminder of parties I've had, pen's from the different hotels I've stayed in since I moved here (there are a lot and I am wondering if I ever really lived in my apartment or in hotel rooms that look like my apartment), commemorative spoons from places I never visited (how in all fucks name did I get these?) and many other things that I have no idea how they got here or why they are still here!!!
So i ask, has anyone be it due to moving house, making room for something or just needing to do a spring clean, turned round and said "Wha... Huh... Where... How did I get this?"
Ok back to packing or whatever more important thing comes up.
