This is what I look like when I'm reassessing my life path.


Sooooo...just found out I didn't get into the art program I applied for...I really do believe that everything happens for a reason, but I definitely don't believe in doing a shit ton of work and then getting rejected. That is something I don't believe in. Rejection sucks dicks.

THAT BEING SAID, I'm taking this time to really start calculating plans for my future. Being an artist is fucking tough, and I am at the point where I need a goal and some structure and some sort of instruction. So, I might apply to a different school...and in the meantime keep up my online thing and local commission work here and there. More than anything, I feel grateful that I tried really hard and that life said "No, do something different." It's hard to listen to that voice sometimes, but there's really no other option unless you want to just stop trying and hate everything. That's the easy way, though.


The proverbial fire is lit. Here I come, world.
