I went to a funeral today for my husbands grandmother.

It was an open casket funeral.
I hate open casket funeral's.
I think they're ghoulish.
The last memory I want to have of any of my potential dearly departeds is not the image of their dead rotting corpse. I'd rather have something that was actually them to hold onto.

Meanwhile though I did get a day off from work and the chance to get to know the in laws a bit better.

Just remember kids, every silver lining has a dark cloud.
