ok, about time i updated this. so, saturday was the annual ball at ocad, this year's theme being alice in wonderland. i was the cheshire cat, and i looked awesome, if i may say so myself. sadly, i was a bit dissapointed in the party. i little too... high school, u know. it would have been better if i went with a big group of ppl that i could dance in a knot with. HOWEVER, i did see some ppl that i know, including (dundanaNA!) michelle krieger.. MICHELLE KRIEGER! i haven't seen that girl since, like, grade 10. it was very cool to run into her there. tiki dressed up as the white rabbit, with a VERY large clock pinned to her ass. there will be pictures.

AFTERWARDS, tiki and i went back to her apartment and i let her dress me for the rave. my first rave! *sigh* i kept the crinoline on, but put jeans on underneath. tiki did some crazy eye makeup on me, tied some ribbons into my hair, and we went. sadly, it was raining pretty heavily, and despite the presence of an umbrella, we still got fairly drenched. anyhoo, we arrive, buy some drinks and squish ourselves into a chair so we can listen to the music and get a feel for the place.
now, we looked pretty cozy on the chair. it was small. i was practically on top of her and i had my arm around her. but still, this guy comes up to me.. must have been about 40, and russian. he comes up, slides his arm around me and put his hand on my knee, and he asks me if i want a drink. im mentally screaming "ROOFIE!" cuz this guys got 'date rape' written all over him. so i say no, and he starts telling me how sexy i am, and sniffing my hair, and generally getting all up in my personal space. so i tilt my head to tatiana, and tell him she's my girlfriend. and he's like "so, no boyfriends?" i say no "you don't like penis at all?" nope. at this point tiki figures out what's going on, leans over, smiles nicely, and tells him to fuck off. to clinch it, she puts her head on my chest, and i start running my fingers through her hair. he leaves.
OH! and meanwhile, there's this guy, who's backpack is on the ground next to me, who's smiling really shyly. he's dressed VERY preppy, but he pulls out some lightsticks, and totally kicks it up on the dance floor. im suitibley impressed.
tiki and i eventually make our way to the floor, and we're starting to get into it, and the russian shows up again, this time with a friend, and tries to bump and grind with us. i tell that i'm dancing with tiki, and she tells him to leave her girlfriend the fuck alone, so he leaves us in peace. the dancing was awesome. it was just, give in to the music. and various parts of my outfit were glowing in the black light. it was awesome.
eventually we decide to come up for air and go to the bar for something to drink. tiki's ordering, and the russian comes up and decides to make his final play. he asks me my name. i tell him none of his business. he goes. "you may not want me to touch you, but you want to touch ME!" i say, no, i really dont. i should mention that i have a heart drawn on my cleavage from the ball. he spots it and goes "what is this?" and tries to paw at my tits, so i shove him and tell him to fuck off. we go back to our seat, and a few minutes later, we see him being escorted out by security. we dance some more, then, because its 4am and we both have shit to do that day, we head home.
the rave was fucking cool. some of the outfits the girls were wearing were totally "fuck me!" and there was this middle-aged rave mama in red pleather next to us, who bought some coke off of a girl wearing nothing but a bra, panties, and a garter belt. interesting evening.
