Some things in life just aren't meant to be. It's just one of the big mysteries of the universe. Pick yourself up, grab your weapon and move on. Don't fall for the trap of saying to yourself, "every cloud has a silver lining." That statement has truth to it, but I consider it to be a trap because it makes people sit back and wait for something good to come. Nothing good will come if you simply sit and wait!!!!! The trick to progress is by making it happen.

Now, with that said let me also remind you that there are certain things in life that are just too important to just give up on and walk away from. In that case, keep fighting and fight hard.
