I had a job interview yesterday, which went well, I hope. then last night was my company "holiday dinner" thing, which was an entirely different form of interesting. I often wish that I still smoked because it gives you something to do when you're bored, or in awkward social situations, but last night I realized anew that cocktails serve that role nicely (plus you can keep them at the table without pissing people off). I have never been so happy to see a Grey Goose cosmo in my life.

So, yeah, hopefully I will hear from the new people by Friday, and then I will only have two weeks left in the moral purgatory that is my current job.
