I feel like half of my mail gets lost. I haven't even recieved my "recu de demander carte de sejour" I cant work legally (get paid) until it arrives. It would seem I have found myself floating in limbo again. I should be doing more with my time, but I feel so unspired. I keep ethe house clean, I go to the market and make good, but cheap meals on about 5 euros a day, drink too much, read too little, study French etc...
I want to write, but the story I was trying to tell is obsolete now (for me anyways, there would be no meaning to my writing of it). I need to write a fiction, but I have no fresh ideas, maybe I'll write about France after I leave. It makes me feel like I have lived a dull life when I know that this isn't true.

Come on, you're in France! The most romantic country in the world! Dig. Open your favorite book, pick a sentence blindly, write it down, and go from there. Rewrite the story in that sentence. Let me know how it goes...
