Yesterday was awesome. I am not a football fan, but I am a fan of wine and beer and of shouting -- so faking an interest in football is easy. I went to brunch with some of my friends and some of their new friends, most work at Carafe, a French Bistro downtown. The chef was there, this massive jolly Frenchman (see the background of the one posted picture), I love European chefs, even crazier than American chefs. I think I may spend an evening or two hanging out in his kitchen, see if I can learn anything. Brunch was outstanding, it was at a New Orleans Bistro called, Acadia. The Pain Perdu was the most awesome thing ever all nutty and syrupy and rummy, and my Pork and grits was yummy. At least one of you (you know who you are) will have the privilege of eating brunch here soon!
I saw one of my favorite people after the game, was put to bed, and slept wonderfully, waking up only the tiniest bit dehydrated (not bad for eight hours of drinking). Time to take my life by the balls again!

Sorry to be gone for so long...I get so caught up in school that SG often gets put by the wayside. Even now, I am chastising myself for not getting to my pile of homework.
