I really like the scene in the movie Lion King when Rafiki whaps Simba on the head and when asked he explains "it doesn't matter it's all in the past"
Hakuna Matata. Nope, tried that. I liked it, worked for a couple of years and whammo! The circle of life is biting my ass in a true circular fashion.

I like to feel safe, who...

Well, see, the important thing about that scene is the line that Simba says right after that: "Yeah, but it still hurts..."

Sometimes shit like that comes back to haunt you even though you thought it was long over. But whatever; we just have to deal with it and try to make it the last time, y'know?

I am not feeling so eloquent. Just blah:
Work is sucking major ass and well it just ruins the start of the day when the alarm clocks buzzes repeatedly reminding you that you must go and fulfill your duties as a responsible adult. It sucks having to put on work clothes and to have to think about ironing because the semi dry clothes in the...

I want to break this bottle over everybody's head at work.

...after I finish it, I mean. That might be a few days.

I hate the public.

I have no batter to assuage me... but I do have this bottle.

That's all.
tigerwong:
Yay for chocolate! biggrin

Anyway, to answer your question, i spent new years in Fredisckburg at the house of "DR. TEA" (that being an acronym for the five people who live there: Duane, Rob, Tikki, Ellen and Annie)

my back hurts. I'm glad no one warned me that tattoo touch ups hurt more than the original until I was in the chair today.
I'm thinking that when I start to heal I might duck tape oven mitts to my hands so I can't scratch.

For those that asked, I shot a 12 gauge and a 20. I prefered the 20. I'm just hoping...

For years as is dictated in the resent your parents guide, I have rarely ever took my parents advise on things. Well, I thought back Sunday night to a pearl of my father's wisdom.
I gargled warm salt water for my very sore throat. Crap. I have to admit he was right. I didn't get sick.
Work has been beating the crap out of me...

So yup, I OD'D on cake. Nearly threw up a couple times on the way home from the bakery. But damn it was so worth it!
I've heard married couples confess to going to wedding conventions before and after the wedding just to sample all the free food. I now know why. Can't wait for the next tasting. That's right honey, tap those veins and...

It was good seeing you both and hope to see you again soon.

I"m up early - AGAIN. Damn cat kneeded biscuits on my pillow to serve him breakfast and I just couldn't get back to sleep after that.
I'm kind of excited about today. No, I'm into this whole football draft pick, today I get to taste some cake samples. It's like I'm finally being rewarded for all this hardwork and planning.
UMMM cake... cake is my...

I was raised in the Lutheran faith. I call it Catholic light. One third less guilt, more fulfilling, but I never felt the fulfillment of a sunday church service until I attended my Goddess initiation. I was the kid in confirmation class questioning the teachings. I couldn't just accept the fact that certain events in the bible were acts of miracles. I couldn't understand why...

I know it was required for eveyone at his age back then, but I find it very creepy that the Pope was a member of the Hitler Youth.

Moving, eh? Sounds like trauma and/or drama. Hope you two can make it next week. smile

I want to say something profiund, but i can't.

I just came back from seeing Sin City. Excellent and so worth it! Frank Miller was done justice.
One thing though, I won't take my husband to see outside of a smoking venue. There is no way in hell he'd be able to sit through it watching all the actors smoke without him having a nic fit.
theinsomniac:
I second the love of Sin City.

After two weeks of work hell I feel like I'm back to being able to see up. Work has been like a car accident. It came out of nowhere, you find yourself rubbing your neck a lot, wish it hadn't happened. I just couldn't get sh*t to stick or come together.

Enough of that. I had a good smile yesterday. Looking at some places to...
