I'm right smack-dab in the middle of my 4th week of externship and I love it! I checked in three patients on my own today and only forgot a few minor things on one patient, but overall, it went really smooth! I'll be an expert in no time!

Now, I need to start looking seriously for a job and start studying for my RMA exam. I wonder when the next tests are...

Aside from school stuffs, life is awesome! I started dating someone that comes with more baggage than I am willing to deal with. I've dealt with it for a couple months now, but I'm done. It's just way too much and I think what he expects a relationship to be like a co-dependency, to take share responsibility for his life and I don't have that kind of time. I need someone who has their shit together already. I have enough on my hands with trying to get my own life further on the track I've chosen...

Anyway, that's a short little update. I haven't spoken to him really since Friday when I told him I was taking a break from everything over the weekend. The break only last about 24 hours and I had texted him that my phone was back on and I was saying hi, but no response. I'm not too worried about it. He's a big boy. He's got his own life to handle. I do hope he's well tho... So I think I'm going to shoot him a text to make sure.

P.S. I think I'm destined for Pediatrics. Last week was my Peds rotation and I really loved it. Even if some of the kids weren't too happy with me, they were great. I hope I get a job in Peds...
