My dad and step-mom are on their way back to FL. Leaving my dad at the hotel last night was hard. Talked to my dad this morning before their plane took off was hard. I'm going to miss him...

The week was good. Very busy spending time with them and still had a couple of volunteer stuff I had to do. I ended up pulling out of the Incubus show to go to Estes with them. I wanted to go to the show, but spending time with my dad was more important. I sometimes forget how naggy my step-mom is. If she wasn't married to my dad, I would definitely not be missing her in my life, but because she takes care of my dad and is his wife, I am eternally grateful to her. My dad deserves to be happy. My dad's a freaking saint to deal with all her opinions and nagging on a every-day basis, but hey, as long as he has someone, I can't complain. I wish I had been able to spend some one-on-one time with him but c'est la vie.

Here are a few pictures I took. It was kind of fun being a tourist and taking pictures of some of the places in this beautiful state that I totally take for granted.
