As much as I thought I'd enjoy not being in school this summer... I'm already going crazy. I don't like it. I'm doing my best to keep busy but fucking A, I miss school. (And trust me, I'm PLENTY busy)

August can't come soon enough.

In other news, I had turned in paperwork last week to be a volunteer at a hospital here in town and I got a phone call this morning telling me that because of my background check, they won't be moving forward with me as a volunteer.

BLEW ME the fuck away. I have no freaking idea as to why I would be denied to volunteer. I'm really concerned because I have no idea. So I contacted the agency they use to run their background checks and left them a message. I'm hoping they'll call me back tomorrow and in the meantime, I'm going to submit a written request for a copy of that background check and get to the bottom of this. The lady on the phone that told me said that I could get the informations from the agency. I think she was worried that I was going to go off on her but I was completely dumbfounded. I still am.

Like seriously, I want to do something about it right this second but this is going to take a substantial amount of patience on my part...
