So, I figured I'd update.
My trip to LA was awesome! I felt like I was just coming back from vacation in Colorado. (Maybe that's a sign??)
I got to spend some time with family and do my best to help things along with my sister and her family. I got text-yelled at by my sister when I got home asking me why I failed to tell her that I had gone to a tattoo shop with her daughter. I responded by letting her know I didn't think she needed to know, and if she did, whether it should have been by me. My niece is 18 years old. She got the tattoo that her family knew she was going to get. They aren't speaking to her anyway, so I didn't think it necessary to disclose. She proceeded to continue to blow up and tell me that, "it's called honestly, Aimee. You should try it out sometime." And it ultimately ended with her telling me to have a nice life and to stay out of her's.
I find it a little funny but mostly I feel for her. She's hurt by whatever transpired between her, the rest of the family and her daughter and she's just lashing out because she can. I simply responded with, "Ok. I love you anyway."
I'm positive that things will eventually be better with all of them, she's just the one taking it the hardest. She has major issues from her own past she needs to deal with and they're right back in her face with her daughter moving out.
Anyway, I just wanted to share some pictures from the weekend.
Besos!

These are from lunch on Saturday. We were waiting for a table at Nelson's at the Terranea Resort in Palos Verdes.

The walk from Naja's to Tony's at the Redondo Beach Pier.

My sister, brother-in-law and his friend.

My niece.

Her tattoo that she got for her brother. They're very close.
