So, my sister and one of our best friends went to Vegas last night just out of the blue. I had NO idea they were going anywhere considering I was talking to my sister phone the phone earlier yesterday while she was at work. I found out when Kristel checked in (on FB) that she was at DIA on the way to concourse C with my sister. Then a couple hours later, checked into the Aria Hotel, then Haze Nightclub for bottle service. They're coming back tonight but I had a tinge of jealousy last night... but that gave me a great idea!

My sister who lives in California (who I lived with briefly in 2007) posted a picture of the beach at brunch this morning and she suggested I come visit before I head further East in June and that got me thinking. I have 4 months to save back up what I would be dipping into from my tax return, and if I can stay with family, why the hell not. I'm about a second away from booking a weekend trip to LA and awaiting my sister's reply to staying with her before I hit "Continue."

I feel kind of nervous about it but it's been way too long since I've seen my family.

Anyway, I just thought I'd share.

P.S. OMG. I'm going to LA Thursday, March 3rd thru Monday, March 7th. I haven't been spontaneous in a long long time...

Also, come to find out, my friend Kristel was offered an all expense 24-hour trip to Vegas by a friend who was out there for a few days and brought my sister along. LOL I was jealous but I don't fault them. I would have gone too... They're bringing me home In-N-Out.
