The most frustrating thing about having a severely autistic brother is when the people who live around you lecture your over how you watch (or not watch) him.
We've been having some issues lately over him throwing stuff out my mom's bedroom window. All my mom's toiletries and even caused some damage to their window. So, one of the mom's (I think it's a lesbian couple with a couple of their kids) came over to give us the bill. Not 10 minutes later, she comes back over with what is possibly her daughter and their dog not on a leash to tell us my brother's been throwing stuff again. I'm dumbfounded because I've been in the living room all afternoon (since I got up) on the computer with my brother in the adjoining family room watching Cartoon Network. The daughter (in an ICP tshirt, which I already have a prejudice against) starts cussing at me about it. So I went to go check my mother's bathroom and, just like I predicted, the door was locked, so before they're at their door, I yell next door to let them know that the door is locked and has been locked since I got up.
So, whatever. We've had a similar incident with the neighbor behind us because my brother gets so aggressive and angry that he hits and breaks things and on more than a few occasions has broken panels on the fence. He cussed my mom out saying that we shouldn't have a pitbull even though we're in a city that has no breed restrictions. Poor Marley has cuts on his face from the neighbor dog getting him through the broken fence, so I keep him inside as much as possible. Precisely the reason why I don't like it when anyone else in the house takes the dogs out because, no matter how many times I tell my mom not to keep them outside unattended for extended periods of time, she does it anyway.
I'm looking forward to moving away from here with my animals. I'm tired of not getting listened to, not only for the well-being of my furbabies, but because I'm not going to take the fall for what others fail to keep track of...

as far as the pitbull thing goes, i wish i had a million dollars to fight Denver's stupid ass, backewards law regarding the breed, but since i don't, i'll attempt to support Pit owners and animal rights activits as much as i can with words, and if i can afford it, donations. Anti-Breed legistlation is, basically and blantantly, Canine Racism. and yes, i believe that whole-heartedly.
and as far as the ICP shirt goes, WTF? do those people even have civil rigths?
