Thanks for the advice. I was finally able to get her to talk to me, albeit by text.
She said that she doesn't feel like she can trust me because she feels like I'll flake out on her and ditch her whenever it's convenient for me. And she also said that I'm unreliable and that I make choices without regard to her feelings. She thinks that I'm running away from my problems and that I always run away from my problems. Funny considering as soon as I told her I was moving, she proceeded to shut me out and not once asked me why or understand where I was coming from.
Oh well. Not much else I can do, but I feel a lot better. Spent yesterday walking around the mall, had lunch with my sister and played around with colored contacts at her work. Talked to my dad. I will always love her as my friend, but I won't have selfish people counted as friends who can't support or trust me.
Anyway, I just wanted to update.

Maybe she is afraid of losing you My friend of over 20 years did the same thing to me when she found out I was getting married. 5 years later.. we still talk every once in a while... but our friendship isn't the same. You have to so what's going to make you happy and if she is a true friend then she should be happy for you too. It may just take time for her to accept it

I agree. I think with time she will come around and realize that your not running away from anything. Your actually running towards your future. I say good on ya.
