Seriously. This is going to be a rant/venting blog but I don't know what possessed me to say "yes" to babysitting and house sitting for finals week.
I have gotten maybe a grand-total of 7 hours of sleep in the past two nights. (First night was my fault. Last night, the 8 month old Devin woke up at least 3 times and was fussy for no apparent reason, doesn't know how to hold his own bottle, and won't go to sleep without being held.)
I am so ready for this week to be over and get back to singledom. I am swearing off having my own kids until I'm AT LEAST 30 and completely finished with school (or whichever comes first but I'll probably be in school for a long while since there's so much I want to learn). It's been one night with the kids and I'm ready to go home.
MAD props to all the parents out there doing everything they can for their kids. I don't know how you do it and stay sane. Just goes to show, I am far from ready for parentdom...

Sorry you're having a tough week. It's definitely not an easy job, but when it's your own, it feels much different. Oh yeah...you're assuming that we are "sane"...LOL.
