So I never heard back from that apartment. I decided to put in an ad on CL looking for roommates. First response I got was from a guy looking for a friends with benefits situation. I shot that down, politely.
I have been talking to two girls and it sounds promising. Although, one girl needs a roommate like tomorrow and wants to stay in Littleton, right by my work. I'm looking to move closer to downtown. The other girl is in the Springs right now and wanting to move back, has found some places, but doesn't want to sign on anything until she finds a roommate. We'll see. So far, it's a lot of talk and nothing else.
I did finally get my D3000 and it is waaayyy more hi-tech than I'm used to. I'm so accustomed to manual everything that this one is fun, but is going to take some practice and actually reading of the manual. But I love it. It's so nice to finally have something that no one has ever owned before. I like recycling and reusing things that have a story behind it, or still have a nice, long life left to them, but it's really nice to have something brand-spanking new too. With this new body, tho, a couple of my lenses don't work so I think I need to sell at least my D70 and two of the lenses. Maybe make a little bit of money. *nod* I'm used to buying online, so selling is going to be a new experience too.
Anywho, that's about all that's going on right now. I'll leave you with a totally phonecam-whoreish picture from today.
Muchos besos!
