Day one of Fall classes. It sucks only because it's the first day and I got let out of class early... and I have three hours between my Psych 2 class and Calc 1 with no homework to do. Luckily I brought my POS iBook so I can get online here at Starbucks.
I haven't been getting on here lately because my mom's laptop (the only computer hooked up to the internet at home) has viruses and it's a pain in the ass to update from. I'm looking forward to getting my school check so i can get a new laptop and a router for home. I want to be able to lay in bed while checking email and chatting... hell, even watching TV/movies online.
Things are going super well! I've been hanging out with a friend and client of a tattoo artist I used to work with. Things are going well with him. He's open when it comes to communication and we can love long and deep conversations. I like him.
Let's see... I have to appeal for my financial aid this semester because I didn't bring my GPA up and I dropped my online class. Not significant enough progress and luckily, when I went into the Financial Aid office this morning, the person I happened to talk to was the Appeal Coordinator. She told me to write a letter explaining the situation and that was all I was going to need. She was going to just change my "Suspension" to a "Probation" but someone had gotten a hold of my account before she could so I had to go through official procedures.
*sigh* I'm so freaking tired.
This weekend was hella busy but super rewarding. I assisted in a Landmark Forum on Thursday night, Friday morning, and all day Saturday along with working, church on Sunday and school today. I'm assisting in the Tuesday night evening session tomorrow and I couldn't be happier. Although I'm wicked exhausted and I can't remember the last time I slept in, I love doing it. I love the work down at Landmark. I walk out of that place always so lit up and inspired. That is why I do it. To be there for other people and whatnot.
That's really all that's going on. I work tomorrow morning at 6:30 so no sleeping in there but I'm definitely going to take a nap tomorrow afternoon before heading to Landmark tomorrow night.
