My spirits are definitely lifting along with the weather lately. I have thoroughly been enjoying the new spring and all that comes with it. My favorite things to see are the trees that miraculously blossom overnight, the birds chirping, quail running free in the back yard. I just love Spring! Last Sunday me and my guy got a chance to do some yard work and it is strange how fulfilling it can be. I planted a pot full of pansies and cleaned up all the dead plants from last year.

Also, I have a ball python that is about 3 1/2 feet long and eats medium rats. We went to the pet store the other day to get some food for her. I am pretty used to bringing live animals home to feed her with but this particular rat was different. I ended up getting a strong attachment to her and could not seal her fate as food for my snake. So we chose to love her instead and make her out pet! Her name is Isabelle, Izzy. Rats have the neatest personalities. She is so sweet and will snuggle up under my hair and sniff my face, i just love her!

I have also been painting a lot and trying to find inspiration in all sorts of places. this is the painting that i did for my sister. I really enjoy being creative, even if it is only for an hour or two. I will have to try to make more of an effort to do art, whatever it may be. I hope all is well with everyone in the world.
