As some of you may remember, This past December I lost my very best friend, Penelope, to feline leukemia. Her brother, Maxx, is also very sick with leukemia and I feel I'm losing him too.
He's in the feline hospital, and unfortunately things are not looking well for him. He is not eating, drinking, and his body is unable to fight the infection any longer.
He used to "baptize" his toy mice by dunking them in his water bowl then fishing them back out. He ate everything, and he never met a stranger. I loved him dearly and I fear the worse is to come.
