I went to the Porsche release party for the new Cayman S. Opening presentation, tech review, and test drives. I got a nice extended drive since I knew the head of sales, he sold me my last one. After the drive and some chatting Tom said, "Hey, hold on,you can actually fit in it." and ran off and got some keys.
I got handed the keys for this. This showroom car is well protected with barriers, and you need to leave a deposit to sit in it. I got to sit in it and was allowed to start and rev the engine. This car is badass! Maybe now I have additional incentive to start using my skills again. I want one.
Well, since that is far off the Cayman S is quite a nice car, supposedly 6 times stiffer than a stock Boxster S (I have the 080 mod), and I certainly noticed the difference. Guess I really should be back making money again since it would give me more options.
