So, the criminally underappreciated and unknown gem that is AIDS Wolf is whom I shall expose most people to tonight! I'm sure some of you are familiar with them and I also think most people will HATE this band. Personally, I love them! Right in my wheel house of Merzbow, All Leather, The Locust, Head Wound City but somehow more Noise/Avant Garde than Noise/Grindcore/Hardcore like the others. Off their '06 album The Lovvers, the track "Spit Tastes Like Metal" and I hope some of you enjoy it! I know, I know, super weird noise. But, if Xiu Xiu has such a big following (and they do, I love them too!) surely there is room for bands like AIDS Wolf. Defunct since 2011 and their last release that year but hey, if they got big enough again, maybe a reunion tour?? One can only dream!! Okay, bye!
