Going back to Dayton, Ohio's best fucking band of all time.

Well, of the current amount of time we've had on the planet that is. I mean, someone could come along years from now and "dethrone" this band but it's unlikely. Now I might get some hate for not saying Devo is the best band from Dayton, Ohio but they are indeed up there in the top 3 BELIEVE me on that! But no, the prize for best Dayton band, and I've said this and posted them before, are the now long defunct but fucking killer band Brainiac. Rest in peace Timmy Taylor, your music was insane and so were you but in all the best possible ways dude!

From the '94 album Bonsai Superstar, the track "Sexual Frustration." Enjoy! They were really the epitome of what was going to be the future in the mid '90s and honestly, if they had gotten to move forward and Tim had not died in that freak accident, they would have been far more influential. Just look up all the very respected musicians that have raved about how much of an impact Brainiac had on them and you'll see. From Cedric Bixler Zavala to Melissa Auf Der Maur and even Trent Reznor. Yeah, that impactful! So anyway, enjoy. I know I post a lot from Brainiac but they are a band that should NEVER be forgotten in the progression of time. True pioneers of the Synth Punk Industrial Rock genre that they alone at the time really encompassed. Enjoy! See ya laterz. Have a great weekend everyone!

*Edit: I remember the day this album came out and it was my senior year of high school. I was going to my favorite record/music store and I walked in and this album was playing on the PA system there. I fucking instantly loved this album and the band and also bought the first album Smack Bunny Baby that day. It's one of the best bands that I discovered in a "happy accidental" sort of way! This was one of the most revolutionary bands of American music to every come along! So when Tim Taylor died in the mid/late 90's in that freak car accident, it was soul crushing to anyone and everyone that was into this band. They had literally finally made it big and then the man behind all that band's magic died far too young and forever changed the future of music even though he died. Tim, you were a legend man. Everybody that knows your work misses you like crazy. I know I do.
