Jane's Addiction, from their album Nothing's Shocking, I give you "Pigs In Zen" so enjoy!! A lot of valid statements to mull over in this song and I hope you'll agree. It was always a special song for me!

Dead Cross, All Leather, Retox and of course The Locust and many, many collaborations too with bands like Zeus! so yeah, love this dude.

So about a week ago I left a post saying things were bad for me and I would be gone for a bit. I'm finally back, even though nothing has changed in the "bad" column of what's happened but I'm tired of feeling completely awful and I need to shake that funk before I can never climb out of that proverbial hole.

So, my immediate...

@chroi I agree hon completely.  It's crazy, because a lot of my extended family is still alive.  All aunts and uncles and their kids who are all grown ass adults at this point (on my mother's side.) but my immediate family and I cannot stand any of them and a lot of hurtful shit was done to my dad, mom and brother as well as myself.  We've not talked to any of them in over two decades now and some extra years beyond that.  It's a shame but they were mostly horrible people as far as "family" members to my cousin's, my brother's and my grandparents since her dad was my mom's brother.  The rest of the family never cared that my grandparents died in any real capacity.  It also sucks that my cousin was denied access to my grandmother when she was dying of colon cancer because she had already been "excommunicated" by that time.  She also wasn't able to be there when our grandfather eventually passed a year and a half after our grandmother.  However, the past is indeed the past and even though it all has a lot of severe trauma attached to it, I can't change it and most of it, I would do the same way if given a "do over."  Thanks for listening to this ramble sweetie, I appreciate it.  I appreciate our friendship and you too!  Hugs hon!

Prince. I have loved Prince and his music since I was a little kid about the age of nine or ten. Anyway, from his album Controversy, it's the title track "Controversy" so enjoy. He was the light that made me happiest when I was young.

"Time and again I tell myself, "I'll stay clean tonight." But the little green wheels are following me. Oh no, not again. I'm stuck with a valuable friend. "I'm happy hope you're happy too." One flash of light, but no smoking pistol." - David Bowie.

I felt these passages necessary for myself tonight.
