Gnocci are harder to make than I previously imagined them to be. But, after much trial, error and flour - success was inevitable. And combined with a very simple alfredo sauce, success tastes deliciously cheesey!
My landlord is a horrible bitch. Even more so of one when you stand up to them, and involve the following words: lawyer, health department, and lawsuit. I wish it was legal to stab some people these days, but the Southern Defense ('He deserved killin' Judge') does not hold up in this state.
In other news, I am bummed out on the whole fiasco that has sprung up around Ward Churchill and his article on 9/11 'Some People Push Back: On the Justice of Roosting Chickens' - because people read his comments out of the context they were written in. Its disgusting how bad the education in this country has been and how much worse the journalism has gotten than I previously thought it was. I think few of the journalists have read the article in question and none of the articles I've read were subjective, all were biased pieces of shit. Thank you for stabbing me in the heart yet again America! Bill Owens, Governor of Colorado, is (in my opinion) an illeterate and uneducated Nazi. And I hate Nazis, National Socialists and Fascists. Fuck 'em all! This is just another sign of the rape of our civil liberties, Constitutional Rights and spitting in the face of the spirit of revolution and deposition of tyrants and greed that this country was founded on.
I still don't hate the country - America is still a very beautiful piece of real-estate. I just hate what the Government has done and what the majority of the people have become. I wish intelligence and desire to revolt and think for oneself was more prevalent than apathy and conformity.
