Didn't get the apprenticeship I wanted. Got to do some work though and picked up a few new cooking tricks. Learning anything new in the kitchen is gratifying.
In all it was nice to get away and see some of my old friends who I hadn't seen since I left years ago. Catching up, drinking all night, and having a host of new adventures is always rewarding.
There's probably more I could say, but I would rather no divulge anything that would get me in trouble. Not physical, broken laws in six countries and across international lines trouble - but in more of an intellectual-spiritual fiasco + firestorm in which my psyche may receive some sort of vile lashing.
The return back here was good as well. Chaos, jager, a few stouts, and intellectual anti-intellectualism, followed by redecoration of a house with a skateboard early in the morning.
Sad to return, heartbroken to leave. Hopefully I'll be back where I belong soon enough.
