What a weekend. What a week. Put in almost fifty hours at the restaurant. Even though the job is easy, it is still stressful. At least the paychecks are going to be big.
I ran into a friend at the show the other night. He is moving out his studio and into a two bedroom house or apartment. I was planning on staying at my current location until I leave for LA. I am living in a storage space right now. No shit. Hey, it's free. But the apartment or house would be more comfy. So the offer was very tempting. We'll see.
I will begin working on a new screenplay tonight. By the end of the summer, I want to have three completed. That's alot but they would just be first drafts of course. I just want to have something to bring to LA with me besides my school work. Those were rushed and definatley "student".
I don't go to parties that much anymore. Never really enjoyed them. But I found my way into one the other night after the Jah Roots show. It was interesting. I got to talk to a bunch a people about all sorts of shit. One kid I talked to was about to embark on an adventure to the west coast. He is going alone and on a motorcycle. Awesome. I also talked to the singer of a band that I like. Unfortunatley, the band broke up. But he said he will be heading to Los Angeles to be "part of the scene". Whatever that means. But I wished him good luck. Lots of screaming and shouting. Laughing and dancing. A friend was there with his girlfriend and her cousin. The cousin is twenty years old, but looked much younger. She kept calling me "Scissorhands". Ha Ha. It was nice to be around people, but I didn't know any of them that well. Just people you see at the bars. Got home around four and had to be at work at 8am. It was a long day.
